JEDCO, Jefferson Chamber to host seminar on sales

Having a robust sales strategy is important to the growth of a business. A good salesperson knows how to target the right customers, foster relationships, and effectively share the story behind the product or service that s/he is selling. That’s why JEDCO & the Jefferson Chamber teamed up to bring you a Prosper Jefferson seminar on Sales. This month, three successful sales experts (Tim Paulin, BNI; Chuck Mutz, Century Link; and Cynthia Widlitze, Adduco Consulting) will share tips and tricks of the trade to enhance your business’ selling strategy. Seminar content includes:

Chuck Mutz , Sr. Enterprise Relationship Manager at Century Link
Chuck has worked in the communications industry for over 20 years, and is a 5 time nationally recognized Sales Leader at Four Different Fortune 1000 companies. He is currently launching the New Orleans Market for CenturyLink Communications – bringing a new, Fiber Optic based communications, cloud and data center service to Greater New Orleans’ Enterprise clientele

He serves on the Board of Director for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, is the current President of the East Jefferson Business Administration and participates with several Non-Profit and Special Event Committees.  In 2016, he earned the Jefferson Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year Award for 2015.

In his evening hours, Chuck helps raise funds as Louisiana’s only Certified Benefit Auctioneer Specialist. He has worked with multiple organizations, such as the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts, American Cancer Society and the Special Olympics. He is an Instructor at Premiere Taekwondo Academy in Slidell, LA, and has performed at Carnegie Hall with the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans.

Cynthia E. Widlitze, President of Adduco Sales Consulting
After a 30 year career in sales and financial services industries, with her most recent positions being that of Retail Sales Manager for 8 years at a New Orleans bank, and subsequently the Director of Membership & Sales at the St. Tammany West Chamber for one year,  Cynthia is now the owner of Adduco Consulting, a sales and business consulting firm.  She helps companies create more success – by teaching sales processes, improving workforce engagement and coaching leadership development.  Cynthia is a high energy and goal-driven woman; her personality is one of “getting things done” and driving results through building relationships and creating collaborative work environments.  Time and time again throughout her career, she has successfully created sales cultures among staff, leading to extraordinary increases in sales and customer retention, while creating the customer-centric environment necessary for success.

Tim Paulin, Executive Director of BNI Louisiana
Tim Paulin is the Executive Director of the Louisiana and Mississippi BNI Franchises. Tim and his team manage 63 referral groups with over 1500 members currently.Having worked with as many as 140 chapters and 2800 members at one point, Tim has helped thousands of professionals increase their business bases and generate millions of dollars in revenue.

In 2000, he was hired as Managing Area Director for BNI Louisiana.  Three years later, he bought the franchise for the Louisiana territory and became the Executive Director.  He added the Mississippi region to his franchise in 2005, and for the next five years he also served as Managing Executive Director for Georgia and North Carolina.  When his boys were born in 2008, Tim chose to focus his attention on the more local areas of Louisiana and Mississippi full time to be closer to home.  Tim has been a National Trainer for BNI since 2005, and he has trained thousands of Directors from all over the world, including Australia, Chicago, and Seattle. He started as a Member of BNI over 17 years ago, and his belief in the system prompted him to purchase his first franchise in 2003.
