The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is Open

The first commercial flight operation is scheduled to arrive at 8:53 p.m. today on Airtran Airways from Atlanta.
Most carriers will resume service on Thursday morning. Flight schedules may be reduced on Thursday so check with your air carrier before coming to the airport.
Passengers should be aware that there will be limited food and beverage and news and gift operations at the Airport while all the employees return from being evacuated.
Passengers may retrieve their vehicles from the parking garage.
Please check with your air carrier prior to coming to the airport as the status of your particular flight could change.
