JEDCO Announces 2010 Board of Commissioners

The Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) announced its 2010 Board of Commissioners at this week's annual meeting. Serving as board officers for 2010 are Joe Ewell (Chairman), Mark Jacobs (Vice-Chairman), Manny Blanco (Treasurer) and Jim Garvey (Secretary).
Other board members for 2010 include: David Andignac, Jimmy Baum, David Colvin, Tina Dandry-Mayes, Greg Jordan, Mayor Tim Kerner, Jonathan Lin, Hon. Vinicio Madrigal, MD, David Martin, Lynda Nugent-Smith, Bill Peperone, Scott Schellhaas, Stacey Shane-Schott, Beverly Stuntz, John Tobler and Frank Trapani.
The JEDCO Board of Commissioners is comprised of 21 members. (One JEDCO Board position is currently vacant.) The Jefferson Parish Council nominates seven members, the Jefferson Parish president appoints one representative, and 13 board appointees represent area business organizations.
Business representatives serve five years, with representatives of the parish council and president serving for the duration of their nominator's term in office.
