Flooding in Jefferson Parish

Widespead street flooding has been reported throughout Jefferson Parish. Jefferson Parish Emergency Managers are reporting water in structures on the East Bank and in scattered structures on the West Bank. All pump stations are working at full capacity.
Emergency Managers are monitoring the weather and assessing reports of damages. Motorist are urged not to drive down any flooded streets as it may push water into homes and cars.
