2010 Southeast Louisiana (SELA) Hurricane Preparedness Expo Set for June 2

Entergy Louisiana LLC, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Parish, West Jefferson Medical Center and Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) will present the Third Annual SELA Hurricane Preparedness Expo.
This year's event will move to the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner and take place Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Federal and State agencies, Jefferson Parish and other parishes from the New Orleans metro area will join together to educate citizens on how to better prepare their families, homes and property for the next hurricane season. Additionally, the Expo will include workshops to assist businesses on how to develop disaster recovery and continuity plans in the event of a major disruption of service.
