Sandbagging on Airline Drive at the 17th Street Canal

Jefferson Parish Department of Public Works will begin sandbagging of Airline Drive at 17th Street Canal (Orleans Parish Line) at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2008.
One lane will remain open in each direction of Airline Drive for the time being. Complete closure of Airline Drive at 17th Street Canal will take place when weather conditions warrant.
