Louisiana Small Business Development Center Greater New Orleans Region (SBDC)
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center Greater New Orleans Region (SBDC) provides business counseling, technical assistance and business training for existing or new small businesses in the Greater New Orleans area and surrounding 10 parish region, including the Bayou Region. Assistance includes business planning, loan package preparation, web site development, logo design, marketing, management, research, finding sources of funding, accounting and legal issues.   Business workshops are provided on a variety of topics for a small fee. Business consulting services are FREE and available ONLY by appointment - Monday - Saturday.

MEPoL
MEPoL is a statewide, non-profit organization that provides Louisiana's small and medium-sized manufacturers with business and technical solutions that help them become more productive and competitive. MEPoL's services include lean manufacturing, information technology, quality systems, plant layout and design, training, testing, research and marketing.

Greater New Orleans, Inc.
From a regional perspective, deals with economic development for a ten-parish area. On January 2004, this organization officially replaced the former New Orleans Regional Chamber of Commerce and MetroVision.

World Trade Center of New Orleans

The World Trade Center of New Orleans site provides information on various programs including training classes on exporting and importing; foreign language classes; seminars on doing business in specified countries; international conferences and trade shows; international trade publications, and targeted trade missions to other countries.

U.S. Trade and Development Agency
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency helps U.S. companies pursue overseas business opportunities for infrastructure and industrial projects in developing countries through the funding of feasibility studies, orientation visits, specialized training grants, business workshops, and various forms of technical assistance.
