The Jefferson Economic Future Fund (J.E.F.F.) is a parishwide incentive fund designed to help Jefferson Parish compete for new jobs and investments. Projects are negotiated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the number of new jobs and payroll to be generated, location, and deal structure.

Jefferson Parish Port District
JEDCO is responsible for the economic development of all navigable waterways in Jefferson Parish that do not exceed 15 feet in depth (excluding Grand Isle). This includes Lake Pontchartrain, the Harvey Canal, Bayou Segnette and Bayou Barataria.
