Adler’s celebrates grand opening of new Jefferson Parish location

The Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) joined the Adler family, Parish President Mike Yenni, Councilwoman-at-Large Cynthia Lee-Sheng, and District 5 Councilwoman Jennifer Van Vrancken Tuesday morning to celebrate the grand opening of the new Adler’s jewelry store in Metairie. The iconic Greater New Orleans jeweler recently relocated its Jefferson Parish retail space to a shopping plaza along Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

Founded in New Orleans in 1898 by Coleman Adler, this family-owned business quickly became a local favorite. Consistent engagement throughout the community, a focus on customer service, and an attention to detail helped propel the jewelry firm to the next level of success. Today, Adler’s is one of America’s premier destinations for fine jewelry, watches, giftware, china, crystal, and silver.

Operated by Coleman E. Adler II, the founder’s grandson, and four members of the family’s fourth generation, Adler’s continues to honor its New Orleans roots by seeking out stunning new brands as well as local items that surpass the ever-increasing expectations of its loyal customers. The company is the exclusive local dealer of Patek Philippe, Royal Copenhagen, and Gien. Additionally, Adler’s was chosen as a regional dealer for Tiffany & Co. and Rolex.

Adler’s opened its first Jefferson Parish store in 1978 and operated out of the same space for nearly 40 years. The move to the new location on Veterans Memorial Boulevard provides customers with easy accessibility to the jewelry store.

“As the marketplace changes and as the expectations of our customers change, we feel this is the right move for us,” said Manager Mickal Adler. “There is probably no easier place to get to in the Parish than this location, so we are very happy to be here. As our location is easy and accessible, so is doing business in Jefferson Parish. We are proud to have served this community for many years and look forward to continuing that tradition in the future.”

“JEDCO is proud to celebrate this exciting day in Adler’s history,” said JEDCO President and CEO Jerry Bologna. “Jefferson Parish has benefited from the Adler family’s civic and commercial work for over a century. Their active support of and engagement in the regional business community has had an incredible impact on our success. Additionally, the company standard for excellence and highest quality products set the bar for other companies in its industry. We are grateful for Adler’s continued investment in Jefferson Parish.”

The company currently operates three locations in Jefferson Parish, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge. The new Jefferson Parish store is located at 2937 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Suite B, in Metairie.
