Prosper Jefferson 2020: Doing Business with the Government

POSTPONED

The health, wellness and safety of our community is paramount during this uncertain time. As such, JEDCO and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce have together decided to postpone this seminar with plans to reschedule for later in the year. We thank you for your patience and your understanding.

(AVONDALE, La) — In the 2019 fiscal year, the United States government spent $594 billion dollars on business contracts – ranging from office supplies and janitorial services to technology and planning.  Federal contract spending grew at a rate of nearly7.6% every year since 2015, according to Bloomberg Government. Doing business with the government can be very lucrative work for businesses.

That’s why JEDCO and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce teamed up to bring you a Prosper Jefferson seminar on government contracts and how to obtain them. We invited three experts to provide their guidance and advice on how to navigate the contract system. Attendees will learn:

  • How to determine if your business should be doing business with the government
  • Basic requirements of doing business with the government
  • How to secure government contracts
  • Case studies from businesses that have been successful in obtaining government contracts
  • How to do business with Entergy

All Prosper Jefferson seminars are non-refundable.
